All of this site's content, including but not limited to text, articles, photographs, images, graphics, trademarks, logos and service marks, is owned by Vaughan Integrative Medicine and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, meaning, among other things:

About the Doctor-Patient relationship...
The fact that Dr. Vaughan responds to a letter or email sent to her by you, does not establish a doctor-patient relationship, where no such relationship existed previously.
Dr. Vaughan will not prescribe drugs, nor prescribe specific medical treatment for any person who has not been treated by her, in her office, under the terms and conditions of treatment which prevail in her office.
Your use of this service is at your own risk.
You understand that there may be delays, omissions, inaccuracies or other errors in posted information, or other problems inherent in electronic communication. Therefore...
Never use email to contact Dr. Vaughan about an emergent or urgent medical matter.
You understand that you should never email Dr. Vaughan about an emergent or urgent medical matter, since you understand that she may not be able to respond to email for an undetermined period of time, or your email message may be delayed, misrouted, or lost.
If you are Dr. Vaughan's established patient, you should contact her directly by telephone, if you have an emergent or urgent medical problem. If you are not her patient, you should contact your own physician, or consider going to the nearest Emergency Room.
Content of email responses is privileged and copyrighted
By sending an electronic communication (email) to Dr. Vaughan, you agree that the content of any such email becomes her intellectual property, for use by her for any purpose whatever, subject to our Privacy Policy elsewhere on this web site.
By soliciting an electronic communication (email) response from Dr. Vaughan, you agree that the entire content of her response remains her intellectual property, protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, under the same terms and restrictions enumerated under the heading "Everything on this site is copyrighted", above.
Terms of service may be changed
These Terms of Service may be changed or modified at any time. A notice of changes or modifications will be posted by indicating the date of the most recent change in the Site Map. You agree to review this agreement periodically to keep current on its terms.

BraFree.org reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification under this agreement.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us.
We will never provide personal information about you, as an individual, to any third party. (The exception is, if a court order forces us to.) We don't presently collect personal information about users. If we should do so, that information could be shared with advertisers or other third parties, but only in the aggregate, never with an individual's identity associated with it.
Neither your name, nor your postal address, nor your email address, nor your telephone number, will be revealed to any unauthorized third party without your written permission, subject only to a valid court order requiring its release.
We won't sell individual information about you to any other party.
The contents of any email or letter you send to Dr. Elizabeth Vaughan is absolutely confidential, subject only to a valid court order requiring its release. One exception: If your email message or letter reasonably appears to constitute a threat of bodily harm to yourself or any other person, or constitutes a threat to the public order, Dr. Vaughan reserves the right to contact appropriate authorities.
If you are Dr. Vaughan's patient, any communication with Dr. Vaughan - whether by email, letter or phone call - is subject to the same rules of confidentiality which would apply if you were seen by her, in her office.
From time to time, Dr. Vaughan may quote, on this web site or in advertising, all or portions of email or letters she receives. In such cases, the identity of the writer will be concealed unless the writer has given permission to be identified.
